A sunny Fourth of July. A simple question.
It was 1:30 in the afternoon on the Fourth of July. I was driving through Cohasset, Massachusetts, on a beautiful sunny day.
I started thinking about how many people might be celebrating with alcohol. As a person in recovery, I had no desire to drink. But another question crossed my mind:
What would I drink instead?
I pictured a sparkling water with excellent taste and real character, something anyone would be glad to have in their hand, whether they drink or not.
That was the beginning of Soberly.
People reach for Soberly for all kinds of reasons. Some don’t drink. Some are taking a night off. Most just want a great sparkling water.
The inspiration was personal. The invitation is for everyone.
My wife, Jami, is an artist and Soberly’s co-founder. Her original paintings became part of the collection, bringing the New England places we love to every can, from Sandy Beach in Cohasset to the White Mountains and Lake Champlain.
Together, we’re building a family company with care for what’s inside the can and what’s painted on it. Our goal is excellent sparkling water, distinctive flavors, and original art that connects people to a place they love, or one they’d like to discover.
Born in Cohasset and sourced in Vermont, Soberly also carries our commitment to give 10% of our profits back to the communities we serve.
